National Audit Office Praises Eaga IT

Eaga’s IT team has been praised in a report from the National Audit Office.

The NAO’s recent report: “Delivering successful IT-enabled business change” selects Eaga as one of 16 case studies to demonstrate that “major IT-enabled programmes and projects can and do succeed and can deliver real and lasting benefits to citizens.”

The report looks specifically at Eaga’s work to upgrade IT systems following re-win of Defra’s Warm Front contract in 2005.

Eaga is specifically praised for its confidence in the skills and capacity of in-house staff, and for achievement against tight timescales.
